PCORI Approves Policy Requiring Its Researchers To Share Data

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute's Board of Governors approved a new policy calling for researchers that receive funds from the institute to share their data sets and documentation for reanalysis and reuse. PCORI touted the new policy as “among the most far-reaching adopted by publicly supported funders of health research,” in a statement Friday (Sept. 7) announcing the move.
