OMB Starts Reviewing ONC’s Final Interoperability Rule

The White House Office of Management and Budget on Monday (Oct. 28) began reviewing the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT’s final interoperability rule. The office began its review of a CMS final rule that is a counterpart to the ONC rule in late September. ONC and CMS proposed their interoperability rules in February.
