IRS Releases Final Rule On Tax Credits With Few Changes

The IRS on Monday (July 24) released a final version of a proposed rule clarifying that married victims of domestic abuse do not need to file a joint return to receive credits, discussing the allocation rules for reconciliation of advanced premium tax credits and providing guidance on the deduction for health insurance costs for self-employed.
