CMS Updates Qualified Health Plan Renewal Notices, Grants Safe Harbor

CMS is updating the information that qualified health plans must tell consumers in renewal notices and, as in previous years, says it will not take enforcement action against plans that don’t inform enrollees about a product discontinuation within 90 days of it ending as long as they send the information at least 60 days prior to the termination date.
