CBO Finds Medicare Spending Growth Down In First 11 Months Of Fiscal 2017

Total Medicare spending growth decreased during the first eleven months of fiscal 2017, dropping 1.4 percent from spending growth in previous years, according to recent data (Sept. 8) from the Congressional Budget Office. Medicare spending in the first 11 months of fiscal 2017 grew by $16 billion, or 3 percent.
