Trump Now Uses Medicare Coverage As Leverage In Expected GLP-1 MFN Deals

The Trump administration is reportedly on the verge of making a deal for two weight-loss drug makers to dramatically lower their prices in exchange for Medicare coverage, moving the administration’s push for “most favored nation” prices -- which up to now has been driven largely by promises of accelerated FDA reviews and tariff exemptions -- into the realm of CMS Medicare policy.
