Disputes Over HHS Layoffs, Funding Cuts Continue Amid Shutdown

As the government shutdown reaches its 20th day with no obvious end in sight, many legal cases challenging the Trump administration’s health care policies are on hold either because Department of Justice personnel are unavailable or because courts have paused their mandates for the federal government to comply with rulings.
