Congress would need to extend the expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits by the end of August -- or shortly afterward -- to give plans enough time to reflect the change in their plan year 2026 premiums, unless the open enrollment is shifted, Cori Uccello, senior health fellow for the American Academy of Actuaries, said during a Wednesday briefing.
