The Trump administration proposed allocating millions of dollars to telehealth programs to treat chronic diseases, expand access to primary care and promote food as medicine while also cutting funding for HHS’ chief health IT and artificial intelligence office (ASTP/ONC), according to the fiscal 2026 budget proposal it released Friday (May 30).
