Confusion about the purpose of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program from political appointees unfamiliar with public health programs could be a reason the Trump administration is considering proposals to cut HIV prevention funding, sources say amid reports that the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of HIV Prevention is potentially on the chopping block.
