ASTP/ONC Releases HTI-2 Final Rule Focused On TEFCA, Additional Health IT Final Rule At OMB

HHS’ chief health IT office (ASTP/ONC) on Wednesday (Dec. 11) released a finalized portion of its proposed HTI-2 rule that is mostly focused on Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) updates -- leaving out a reproductive health data protection and voluntary public health and payer certifications in the ONC Health IT Certification Program.
