Hospitals Condemn ‘Orwellian’ Site-Neutral One-Pager On Rural Impacts

The American Hospital Association is slamming Arnold Ventures’ assertion in a one-pager that site-neutral reforms pending on Capitol Hill would impact only a small percentage of rural outpatient spending, calling the assertion “misleading” and “Orwellian.” The tussle comes as lawmakers and lobbyists work to sort out those provisions, along with many other extenders, on Capitol Hill in the countdown to the March 8 spending deadline.
