FDA: 56% Of Drug Makers Don’t Send Data Needed To Avert Shortages

Less than half of drug companies are submitting required data to FDA that is intended to help the agency prevent and anticipate drug shortages, the agency told lawmakers, which amounts to more than 4,000 companies neglecting to comply with the mandate.
