The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals late Wednesday evening (April 12) partially stayed a Texas judge’s ruling to suspend FDA’s nearly 23-year-long approval of the abortion pill mifepristone, but the panel of judges says the agency’s actions in recent years to loosen the prescribing and dispensing restrictions on the pill, including by making it available through the mail and via telehealth, and the approval of a generic version of the drug are still up for debate.
