FDA Pulls Evusheld EUA; Former Adviser Urges EUA For Veru’s Drug

FDA on Thursday (Jan. 26) revoked emergency use authorization for AstraZeneca’s coronavirus drug Evusheld (tixagevimab co-packaged with cilgavimab), coming as the agency faces pressure from a former adviser to authorize another COVID-19 drug, Veru’s proposed sabizabulin, which an FDA advisory committee narrowly recommended not be authorized last November.
