Despite Pallone’s Pleas, Centrist Democrats Block E&C Passage Of H.R. 3; But W&M Passes Bill

Despite a plea from the committee chair, three House Energy & Commerce Democrats blocked House Democratic leadership’s Medicare drug price negotiation bill (H.R. 3) from passing out of committee, but H.R. 3 will be included in the House budget reconciliation bill anyway because the Ways & Means Committee subsequently passed the bill.
