The Drug Enforcement Administration released a final rule Monday (June 28) that lifts a 14-year-old moratorium on mobile opioid use disorder treatment vans and streamlines registration of the mobile units, a move that stakeholders say was a long time coming and will help advance access to opioid use disorder treatment, especially in rural areas and correctional facilities.
