Fauci: Communities Need Assurance That J&J’s Vaccine Is Value Added

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci said that the messaging around Johnson & Johnson’s one-shot COVID-19 vaccine needs to change so that underserved and disadvantaged communities don’t mistakenly perceive the vaccine, which FDA is reviewing for potential emergency use authorization, as being inferior to the FDA-authorized Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
