Citing COVID-19, USTR Extends Tariff Exclusions For Some Medical Products

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has extended exclusions from Section 301 tariffs for some medical products to “address COVID-19,” it said in a notice issued on Dec. 29. The exclusions were set to expire Dec. 31. They will be extended through March 31, the notice states. Guidance on the tariff exclusions will be issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
