CDC Director Says He Supports Switch To HHS Database

CDC Director Robert Redfield told reporters on Wednesday that the agency was involved in and supports the highly controversial directive that hospitals stop submitting COVID-19 data to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and instead report the information to a new HHS database.
