Final Exchange Rule Punts On 'Mirror' Plan Requirement, Delays RADV

CMS Thursday (April 18) unveiled the final 2020 Notice of Benefit and Payment parameters , which the agency says aims to minimize significant regulatory changes and offer more stability to the exchange market. The rule adopted a majority of the changes set forth in the proposed version, but the agency does not finalize a proposal that would have required plans offering abortion services to also sell a mirror product that does not provide abortion coverage.
