Advocates for Medicaid beneficiaries filed a third lawsuit Wednesday (March 20) challenging the Trump administration’s continued approval of Medicaid work requirements. The federal lawsuit argues that CMS exceeded its authority when it approved an 1115 waiver last year authorizing New Hampshire to require some Medicaid recipients to work 100 hours a month. The case joins similar lawsuits challenging work-requirement waivers for Arkansas and Kentucky.
