Lobbyists Hope Extenders Are Tucked Into January Spending Bill, But They Might Have To Wait Until March

Lobbyists for the many health care programs that were not not funded in the year-end continuing resolution aim to get their so-called extenders included in the next government-spending bill this month, but a health care lobbyist said it is unlikely that Congress will get to those programs before funding expires March 31 for the Children's Health Insurance Program.
