HHS OIG Doesn’t View Telehealth Fraud As A Major Concern

An HHS Office of Inspector General official told Inside TeleHealth that the telehealth fraud OIG found in its latest report is low compared to overall Medicare fraud and that telehealth has a great potential Medicare benefit so long as CMS is vigilant in preventing improper uses of virtual care.
