Two House committees will hold hearings this week on Democrats’ drug pricing legislation after the Biden administration slowed progress on that bill by leaving it out of the American Families Plan, the president’s plan to tax big corporations to pay for increased funding for Affordable Care Act tax credits, education, child care and paid family leave.
