FTC Talks Drug Mergers, Rebates; Lawmakers Take Up FDA User Fee Bill; Advisers Vote On COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Recommendations

The Federal Trade Commission will hold a two-day meeting starting Tuesday (June 14) on drug industry mergers, followed by a meeting Thursday at which FTC will vote on whether to issue a policy statement describing the commission’s intent to examine drug rebates. This week also brings congressional markups of FDA user fee legislation and FDA appropriations, plus a hearing on the administration’s response to the pandemic.
