Generic drug prices are “tanking,” according to 46Brooklyn, despite fears that the pandemic would lead to price increases due to supply chain interruptions and price gouging . The 46Brooklyn report is based on a July 22 update to the National Average Drug Acquisition Cost database, which is a repository of data from monthly surveys of what pharmacies pay wholesalers.
