Azar Says Drug Makers Will Voluntarily Lower Rx Prices After Rebate Ban

HHS Secretary Alex Azar told Senate Finance Committee members Thursday (March 14) that he still believes the Trump administration’s proposed rule to ban rebates in Medicare and Medicaid managed care would lower list prices and expand to the commercial market without legislation.
