Federal Shutdown Drags On; Dems Push For Window Shopping Ahead Of ACA Open Enrollment

As the federal government shutdown continues beyond 27 days with Democrats still arguing against opening the government without addressing the expiring Affordable Care Act credits, Democrats are now demanding CMS’ allow consumers to visit the exchange to get a glimpse of premium increases ahead of open enrollment on Saturday (Nov. 1) while a GOP senator is floating a bipartisan group to negotiate a solution to credits.
