Cummings Eyes Link Between HHS And Anti-Abortion Group

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee ranking Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummins (MD) is requesting the committee issue a subpoena to investigate the ties and possible collaboration between Alliance Defending Freedom, an anti-abortion group, and HHS. Cummings suggests the group is the reason behind the administration's recent retraction of guidance making it more difficult for states to defund Planned Parenthood.
