The House Ways & Means Committee unveiled multi-pronged legislation it will mark up Wednesday (July 26) that has reporting requirements for pharmacy benefit managers, steps to keep insurers’ prior authorization in check and limits on Medicare Part D plans’ cost-sharing amounts for beneficiaries after they’ve reached their plan’s deductible beginning Jan. 1, 2027.
