White House Seeks $7.6 Million In Additional FDA Funds Due To Hurricanes

The White House is asking Congress to appropriate $7.6 million in additional FDA funding for hurricane recovery, namely to pay for repair of the agency's offices in hurricane-affected areas. The request came as part of a $44 billion appropriations request to fund hurricane relief -- a proposal spurned by Democrats as inadequate.
