White House Clears Final Short-Term Health Plan Rule

The White House Office of Management and Budget on Friday (July 27) completed its review of a highly controversial rule expanding the scope of short-term, limited-duration health plans. The final rule is expected to be released soon. The proposed version of the rule, unveiled in January, would allow short-term plans to last for up to 364 days.
