WH Still Mum On Whether Staff Vaccine Mandate Will Apply Beyond Nursing Homes

The White House and CMS remain silent on whether they’re considering extending an upcoming mandate that health care staff get COVID-19 vaccinations in order for nursing homes to take part in Medicare or Medicaid to other health care sectors, coming as hospice and palliative care stakeholders and the American Medical Association call for broad public sector vaccine mandates but other health care industry groups wait to hear more before pledging support.
