WH Hikes Enforcement, Penalties For Poorly Performing Nursing Homes

The Biden administration on Friday (Oct. 21) announced it is immediately hiking nursing home enforcement and tightening program quality requirements for the worst-performing facilities, including the possibility of kicking out of Medicare and Medicaid those facilities cited for dangerous violations in two successive inspections.
