Ways & Means Bill Funds SNF Staff Training, Tackles Elder Abuse

While nursing homes welcome the staff wage increases and affordable childcare proposals the House Ways & Means Committee is scheduled to consider Thursday (Sept. 9), they’re opposed to language in the committee’s piece of the Build Back Better legislation that would establish a minimum nurse-to-resident ratio without a permanent funding source.
