Trump Budget Draft Eliminates Hospital Preparedness Program

The Trump administration’s passback budget proposal for HHS recommends eliminating the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreement, a program established in the wake of 9/11 that played a major role in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently administering funding for the avian influenza outbreak.
