Students Sue FDA Over Expected Vaccine Approval, HHS, DOJ Push Back

A group of California State University students are suing HHS, FDA and the CSU system over FDA’s impending COVID-19 vaccine approval and CSU’s vaccine mandate. Along with any vaccine approval, the students want FDA to include a requirement that people be prescreened for and exempted from vaccine mandates if they’ve had a prior COVID-19 infection, but HHS and the Department of Justice say the students have no standing and that the court lacks jurisdiction over the case.
