State Department Strategy Transitions PEPFAR To In-Country Ownership

The U.S. Department of State announced a new global health strategy that will include bilateral agreements with countries and ask governments to coinvest in the effort as well as start to transition the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) to ownership by governments in participating countries.
