Short-Term Plan Rule Clears OMB As Democrats Seek To Fight 'Junk' Plans

A proposed rule that would allow short-term plans to offer coverage for a longer duration has cleared White House review and could be out shortly, coming as congressional Democrats eye legislation that would prevent the sale of such plans, which are not required to comply with Affordable Care Act insurance reforms.
