Senators, Brookings Institution Say Changes Needed To Meaningful Use

The Brookings Institution is recommending CMS tie penalties from the so-called meaningful use program to outcome-oriented measures to make the program more flexible and less prescriptive, as Senate lawmakers also criticized the current program Tuesday (March 17).
