The Senate will not vote on drug pricing legislation before the August recess, key committee chairs said Wednesday (July 24). Finance Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA), whose bill is slated for markup Thursday (July 25), said that legislation won’t hit the floor this month, and health committee Chair Lamar Alexander (R-TN) said the Senate will vote in September on his surprise-billing bill, which includes drug-pricing measures.
