Senate Schedules Vote On Opioid Legislation For Sept. 17

The Senate will vote on a package of opioid legislation Monday (Sept. 17), according to a spokesperson from Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) office and the Senate Democrats’ online schedule. Lawmakers had initially said the vote would happen this week. The Senate Democrats’ online schedule says the Senate will vote on the House-passed package, H.R. 6, “SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act,” with an amendment from Sen.
