New Republicans joined the Senate health, Finance and Aging committees for the 116th Congress, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced on Thursday (Jan. 3). The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which also covers some health issues, also gained new Republican members, as did the Judiciary Committee.
