RHTP Bars Household Broadband Funding

The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is barred from providing financial assistance to households for installation and monthly broadband internet costs, according to the program’s notice of funding opportunity, despite listing as an example of a key performance objective boosting rural residents’ access to broadband-enabled telehealth.
