Prior Auth, No Surprises Regs Hike Burden On Practices, MGMA Says

The No Surprises Act has created an additional administrative burden for physician practices that is delaying patient care and contributing to some workers’ decisions to leave the health care field, the Medical Group Management Association says in its latest annual report on the regulatory environment, which also found prior authorization requirements to be a major burden.
