Pharma, Insurance Groups Ask FDA To Nix CO Drug Importation Plan

Pharmaceutical and insurance industry groups are asking FDA not to authorize Colorado’s application to start a state drug importation program, saying the proposal has procedural issues, does not satisfy criteria for authorization, and presents a risk to patients living in the state and to the confidentiality of information requested from manufacturers.
