Payer-To-Payer Interoperability Enforcement Delayed Indefinitely

CMS will put we off enforcing the payer-to-payer data exchange requirements of the Interoperability and Patient Access rule until it conducts a rulemaking in the future on how to move data among payers, the agency said in updated answers to frequently asked questions last Wednesday (Sept. 15).
