Pallone To Focus On Cosmetics Reform, As FDA Tackles Safety Issues

Cosmetics regulatory reform is a priority for House Energy & Commerce Committee Chair Frank Pallone (D-NJ) in 2020, an E&C spokesperson told Inside Health Policy . FDA and stakeholders have urged Congress to move on legislation, namely Pallone’s bill, that would increase FDA’s resources and give the agency more regulatory authority over cosmetics.
