Oncologists Sue HHS For Applying Sequestration To Drugs, But Analysts Say Sequestration Could Help Nudge Doctors Into Part B Demos

The Community Oncology Alliance is suing the Trump administration for continuing to apply sequestration pay cuts to Medicare reimbursement for doctor-administered drugs. However, excluding Part B drug reimbursement from sequester cuts would discourage doctors from voluntarily participating in demonstrations that test drug price-cutting policies, health care analysts say.
